Access Point with builtin firewall, NAT, caching name server and DHCP.

Highlights:

  • One WAN 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 connector for ADSL modem.
  • Two 10/100 Mbps RJ-45 connectors for LAN.
  • One 802.11g AP.
  • Statefull packet filtering firewall.
  • NAT.
  • DHCP client on WAN interface.
  • DHCP server.
  • Caching DNS forwarder.
  • NTP server.
  • Hardware Watchdog.

The hardware is based on a net4501 board and a 802.11g Mini PCI card.

The software is FreeBSD, ICS DHCP and dnsmasq.

During customization you may net boot via PXE. The full (non developer) software takes up about 40 Mbyte of flash disk space.
